Melle - maybe some more different colour panels would help keeping the value down!

I know they are asking a lot but was more just interested in seeing a "special edition" 96 as other than Souvenir and Jubilee models I can't think of any others - do they exist?

Yes, it's not easy! I hate seeing the prices go up, as it attracts the "wrong" sort of people (those who see cars as financial assets) and prevents young folks from tinkering with old Saabs.

That must take some doing these days Melle, if you want something you can actually use...

I make an effort keeping the value of mine below £500.

If they get £25k for that one Andy I don't see why yours wouldn't be too far behind!! Crazy money being asked for stuff nowadays.

Geoff.
My 96 has got a (new) twin choke weber carb, rev counter and stripes....can I try and sell it for 25 grand?????....

Mind you, I saw a lilac, (yes LILAC, absolutely hideous), Morris Minor for £30 K at the Resto show at the NEC this weekend....!!!
OK, it was fully restored, concours, special edition, to celebrate the period when the millionth Minor was produced, but £30K for Jelly Mould that goes parp parp, on the over run??!!!!
Mad, completely mad.

Yes Sweden only but for that money I would want it fully rally prepared!! Looks like a twin choke carb, rev counter and some stripes only!!!

They weren't exported, Sweden only IIRC.
Silly money they are asking.
