Just seen this write up on another site. You need to follow the link.

I know the owner and Ive seen this car driving around Bromley many times. The owner is trying to drive up membership of another webforum which appears to be in desparate need of fresh faces.

Crikey Popular Classics, there's a blast from the past. Used to inhabit the old forum back in 2005-8, logged in again once in 2015, but never really bothered with it. I know from painful experience how quickly an active forum can wither and die - our Chevettes forum was really busy back in 2009/10, then it was hacked and we couldn't get on for a month. When we came back, sadly nobody else did. Faceache car pages have largely killed forums, but it's a completely useless platform for actually archiving and searching for information. I still appreciate and enjoy the traditional forums.

Well said John.
This is a great forum.

As for "Face Ache".
It's pants, far too flighty, jumbled up and transitory.
I use it very sparingly, now and again.

The owner is a good friend and a member of this forum. The forum he's trying to promote used to be fantastic. Popular Classics. It was full of like minded people with many different cars, points of views and interests. Sadly there was "in house" squabbling and the owner chose to shut it down (that and people going over to facebook meant numbers started to dwindle). I have re-joined as some of the people I used to chat with are still on there and didn't transit to FB. Of course we are lucky to still be strong in numbers, information and friendship on here..there are very few "old school" forums who can boast what this forum has achieved and how dedicated our members are.
Annnnyhow...that's my old car and it's in great hands.
