Hi there
I'm on the hunt for door cards in dark brown for my Souvenir. (It currently has the older style two-tone grey ones with a silver strip on which it came to me with). I don't think the pattern style and dark brown colour were unique to the Souvenir but they were used on later models of various colours. I have posted a picture of what I need on the Saabv4 facebook pages if anyone wants to check - can't seem to get an image posted here.

Many thanks..Ian

My car is a Swedish spec, 1978 car, and though it has some embossing, it doesn't have the chromed plastic trim that some UK spec cars seemed to have.
The plain door cards that I made, are a zillion times better than the old tattered originals. I can live without the embossing!

Sorry for delay in getting back.
Thanks for looking those out Gareth (Dirtbiker). A bit light those I'm afraid - the ones I'm after are a really dark brown. Appreciate you taking the time.
AndyDean - would be happy to have a go making them but the later ones have quite a lot of embossed panels on them which would be pretty much impossible to replicate without the right equipment I suspect.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

Ian.
Make your own. Use 3 or 4 mm hardboard, and get material from Martrim.

Hi Ian,

Sorry it has taken me a while.

I have dug out some rear door cards and have the fronts squirrelled away too. Before I dig them out have a look at the pic and see if the colour matches.

Apologies as I think these will not be the right colour, they are orangey rather than dark brown.

Photo taken outside in sunlight.

Cheers

Gareth

Hi Ian,
I think I have some but will need to check the colour. I’ll try and find your post on Fb to compare.
I would be interested in a swap for your early ones....
Cheers
