stevebod	Posted - 25 Sep 2017 : 13:22:17 Just wanted to share some SAAB related news from Rally Day which was last Saturday at Castle Combe Race Circuit. It's worth a look if you like rally things especially the monster cars from Group B in the 1908's. The big Audi's were there, also Lancia Delta's, Stratos' and an 037. Renault 5 Turbo's and lots of classic Fords and Vauxhalls. By chance I arrived in convoy with a smart looking Saab 900T. At the track there was a fine replica Saab 96 rally car.... Also a Saab 99 Turbo There was a short interview with Stig Blomqvist And he signed my glovebox lid Quote from the interview. Interviewer "Stig you retired from the rally with an electrical problem, what went wrong?" Stig "A tree hit my alternator."
