Anybody have pictures of how the hood strap on rally cars is secured to the car body? Or have overall measurements for length/width of the straps?

I'm wanting to have one made for my Baja project.

Thanks.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I needed to make a slot to thread it through, or if it was just screwed into the bodywork.

The leather belt needs to have a hole at the end for the wing screw to go through with a washer. Short length with holes off side and long strap with buckle near side. Usually located at screws in from front panel.
See my project for fitted part.
