Both the passenger and drivers seat runners have the rear spring clips missing and when driving I can feel the rear of the seat sliding from side to side a bit.
So I've made a couple of experimental new ones. I have started with the passenger seat 'cos I don't sit there.

Made from some annealed flat spring steel.Bent the hardened then tempered.
The first one I made broke because I don't think I tempered it properly.
I'll see how these fair.
I bet someone will now tell me you can buy them online for 2p each.
Cheers

Hi Dynorog,

Thanks for posting this ........l have wondered for a while why the rear of my front seats on my 96 move from side to side. I have assumed it must be due to the runners not being correctly fitted by myself. I,m not sure whether these spring clips are missing ...........but l will now check.

Cheers , Paul
