Posted - 13 Oct 2020 : 08:37:57 I am completing the restoration of a 1973 96 v4. I have totally stripped the doors for painting and now starting the rebuild. I have purchased new flocked run channel and new steel sprung clips to hold the channel in the recess around the door. Could anyone help me with the procedure to fit the clips and rubber channel? I was thinking of fitting the steel clips into the recess first then punching the rubber channel into the clips that were already in the door. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Posted - 13 Oct 2020 : 14:59:18 I found it better to put the clips onto the rubber channel first then press into the steel channel. I was re-installing original rubber flocking.
