| quote: Originally posted by Derek As an aside to this, I've often made the complaint that some/many members don't put any information about where they live in their profile. Having at the very least the county you live in enables you to quickly see if the item for sale or wanted is far or near to you. On the "HELP!" front it can also hopefully let you offer assistance before you find out that one you lives in Plymouth and the other in Fife. Come on guys it only takes a few seconds to add a bit more info. Thanks.
Pleased to see that this thread has a bit of life but there are still some of those who've generously posted in it who still don't have the info in their Profile or haven't updated it since they've moved (Simon). MUCH easier to be able to just click on the posters name and get straight to the profile than somehow finding this thread, which will soon be hidden amongst the others. (Edit: I see it's been made a sticky which will help) Many of those who've posted have given more info than in their Profile so they might like to do a quick edit too. Thanks. | Edited by - Derek on 21 Jan 2015 13:10:27

| You're quite right Derek, updated my profile.
Shame I can't change my Username though - 'UK_Sub' was a username I was using on an American forum - it referred to a Chevy Suburban I was doing up at the time, and also nothing to do with the Punk band the UK Subs.

| West Dorset, not far from john-saab, to whom I've just sold my 95V4 (project) and most of my V4 spares. Sticking with my 2T and 900 Aero 'vert for now - they provide enough work! PS: have temporarily forgotten my password, as my PC logs on to the site automatically .

| Hello! We are in Glenrothes, Fife. I'm pleased to see so many Scottish based members.
We have our garage/workshop at home, stocked with welding and general mechanical equipment. Have overhauled c900 and 99, happy to offer assistance to anyone in the area or passing by. Not particularly experienced on the V4s, but always willing to learn!

| Hi All,
I'm based in Leicestershire, near Ashby de la Zouch. Sure there is someone nearby in derby with a maroon 96?

| I'm in Louisville, Kentucky, USA so I'm not much use as far as my garage and tools go. But I'm always willing to offer moral support! | |
