I'm looking for a Weber 28/36 DCD 23mm primary venturi. Gave one away recently as I thought I wouldn't need it, changed my mind though. Can swap for larger size, I think I have a spare 25 and 26.
You can also get them from FRC for about £16 I think, but I was hoping to swap. Many used DCDs come with 23/24 venturis whereas most people seem to prefer a 26/27 set-up for a V4 (bigger is better?).
It does, so they're my plan B. I'm in no hurry, running 24/27 in my 96 at the moment, I want to test how a smaller primary (= higher air velocity) affects bottom torque. I have a 28 secondary (= more air cfm = more fuel) to go in for better high rpm performance. Be interesting so see if I understand the theory, how well theory and practice align and how far I can push primary and secondary venturi sizes apart before driveability and fuel consumption get affected.
