| Keep up the good work Melle :) If I get the time this weekend I might be able to find some of the workshop manuals in PDF that you are missing. Hope that we all can help fill out the blanks. Regards, Mads | |

| That'd be cool Mads! I have the Fast moving parts, Repair work and Repair time books myself, but lack the time to find a scanner that can do multiple pages at once. Scanning every page manually would take me ages.

| I've just added more CAD files to the site and two new manuals. If you want to see if your garage speed is up to spec consult the Repair Time Schedule or Repair Work Descriptions books! The original Repair Work Descriptions manual was kindly donated by Pete Christy last year. All manuals should be searchable in Acrobat.
Hope you all enjoy the updates. I have many plans and not enough time, so next update will probably take a while again. If in the meantime you have requests or material to contribute please let me know. I'm for example still looking for the mysterious 1967 Saab V4 Tuning Guide and john-saab and Zagato have service update books that I didn't know existed until recently. Also if you spot e.g. page order errors in manuals, missing pages or corrupt CAD files please tell me. There is always room for improvement!

| The site has had 235 unique visitors per month since October 2014, pretty amazing for such a niche website! I'm glad people find it useful and contributions and ideas for improvements are still more than welcome.

| The factory workshop manual that you can download from saabv4.com has now been replaced by the 1967-1979 version (the old one only covered '67-'76), many thanks to forum member 967220 (Peter) for scanning it!

| I get a lot of traffic from Facebook all of a sudden, has someone dropped a link there? I'm not on FB, but it's great if people spread the word for others to enjoy the site. If you have anything to contribute, you're still more than welcome.

| I did plug your site recently on the Saab Restoration and Preservation FB page. Some lucky member has just posted a haul of rare tools and parts (including a gearbox jig) another poster suggested doing up a CNC plan of one so others could make one up if needed and I suggested you would post it on the SaabV4.com site (then added a link to SaabV4.com) so I'm sure this is where a lot of people are checking the site out from...
Hopefully they'll get some CNC plans drawn up, there's been a lot of interest in the jig (originally posted by Donna Yaws Gigout) | |

| Thanks for the plug. I also have a gearbox jig, never thought of drawing it up, great idea! If you have the parts laser/ water jet cut it's very easy to fabricate. This is why I love the internet!
If anyone else has ideas for DIY plans, or even better: if you want to draw them, you're most welcome to let me know.

| I had an issue with a small hack on the website a while ago (see this thread: http://www.saab-v4.co.uk/speedball/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=35413), which resulted in the side bar menus no longer collapsing as they should, because some code had to be disabled. I've just solved the problem; could those of you using anti-virus software please check if it finds my fix acceptable?
