Life has got in the way recently of making progress with Sigfrid, so I am testing the waters.
Work done to date; all new Malbrad springs, platforms, bushes, drop straps and bumpstops. Dampers have near new rubbers, all working as they should.
All suspension soda blasted, and powdercoated black, refitted with all new nuts, lock washers etc.
Jetex not yet fitted.
New Weber with manifold from Melle, linkages all done and aircleaner.
Wings all removed, under seal removed and corrosion exposed ready to weld. Shock towers all round are excellent. Passenger foot well needs a patch about 6" by 2", top corners both rear wing housings need minor work, again about 6 " by 1" to get to bright steel.
New unfitted fibreglass rear wings as well as steel ones which need work
Front wings largely repaired, now need final bits (small cracks around the wheel arch need a weld to stop movement), then fill and paint.
Bottom front corners of shell, inner wings need doing, as do the ends of the front skirt.
Good interior, door cards are OK but ideally new material behind the very good fabric.Roof lining excellent.
Near new boot floor plywood panels.
Headlight shells all powder coated as are all front support brackets. Very good radiator and all lights.
Bumpers good. Tank cleaned internally and very sound , small repair of the bodyshell under the tank needed (3 by 2")

Thanks for the thoughts Melle and Dynorog. It has just got too hard with nobody seeming to help. I do understand, just despondant!

The help I was hoping for, after the welder was stolen is for someone to do the needed welding. I have a local commercial guy, we just don't seem to be able to get the days sorted. I don't weld, I'm just not good enough. There is no cosmetic stuff, as mentioned in the initial post. Probably about a day. Happy to pay!

Would be a shame if only a day's worth of welding stopped you from finishing your project.

I have spent half the day making patch panels and fitting them for potential welding. Tomorrow will be a big day making more.

Hang in there. Cleaning, cutting and shaping repairs is where the time is.
Hope things work out and you can progress.

Whereabouts are you located? I'm a halfway decent welder and may be able to assist.
