I've got the axles out of my '68 now, and want to get started on replacing the boots. Is there any trick to popping the drive shaft out of the CV? Do I just pull on it real hard (it's only held in with a clip, right?)?

Pretty sure this car has never been apart before, still has zerk fittings on all the ball joints and tie rod ends. Noted the dust boots on the ball joints are marked "engproducs" - a company I'm pretty sure isn't in business anymore.

Useful link, even though it's a bit wordy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTORXZYmhSE
