| I noticed on one of Melle's threads that he has fitted 20mm spacers to the front bumper mounts- in order to remove the front panel without having to go through the hassle of fiddling with the front bumper first I imagine? That's made me realise that I may need to replace my bumper mounts before doing much more in the engine bay non? Naturally I've forgotten whether I tool the bumper off before removing the engine; I must have done as it would be very difficult to get to the bolts inside the engine bay otherwise... In fact, whilst my brain is working relatively well, are there any other things I ought to consider doing that aren't obvious, before I start on the plumbing? Sorry if these are oft repeated questions, I am a Saab newbie! Jimmy

| My bumper mounts were still dead straight, but the bumper itself was deformed from three impacts... You should be able to get to the bolts no problem with the engine in situ.
I'm still meaning to come your way at some point, just really busy and travelling a lot until late September!

Ah! I see; thinking about it I removed the front panel before the bumper. Wanted to make sure I wasn't making life very awkward for myself in getting the bumper mounts back on. Yes, that would be appreciated; the travelling sounds good- Alas I've not had a chance to do so for a while, got to make some dough to pay for a house I'm restoring...as well as paying for old cars...

| I wish the travelling was just for fun... and I hate airports! Also some holiday travel, so shouldn't be too bad all-in-all.
