I've wanted a remote engine starter for a long time, but I never got around to making one. This summer I was helping a friend put the engine back in his bare 96 shell with a sketchy loom (fixing the wiring is the next project), which proved to be the perfect excuse to finally knock one up.

I can draw a diagram if anyone is interested, the bottom pic may be a bit too messy to make sense. It's not a very complicated device anyway, it mostly replicates the car's wiring. If you have a >MY75b (iirc) car, there is a socket on the bulkhead that Saab used for their version of this tool (which I have never seen, not even in an image). I noticed with the Hall ignition in my car the "on" LED flickers, so I may install a suppressor of sorts to fix that.

Features:
– On/ off switch with pilot light
– Start button
– Oil pressure light
– Tachometer
