I'm making the long haul down from Fife to Bath for the weekend, and intend to go to the Great Western Classic Car show at Shepton Mallet on the Sunday.
Are any other 96'rs going to be there?

Are you going Saturday, Sunday or both days? I'll try and make it too.

Melle

Definitely Sunday only.
I'll hopefully have my old girl in the classic car park, complete with a nice quiet gearbox!. (that's the car, not my wife....)

Cool, as it looks now I'll be there as well. My 900 is eligible for classic parking as well, unless they expect me to wash it.

Edit: I only just noticed you answered my question in your opening post...

Had a great run down to Bath on Thursday.
Weather was a bit wild on Sunday, still great wee show though, and I wasn't the only 96 in the classic car park.
A long nose 2 stroke was parked next to me. Chap from Wiltshire.

I had an epic 12 hour marathon drive home today. With chaos between junction 14 and 15 on the M6, Howling wind, snow, sleet and torriental rain, it took us 12 hours to get home.

Final straw was the fact that the Queensferry Crossing (the new bridge across the River Forth, north of Edinburgh), was closed.
(icicles hanging from the cables, dropping onto cars below).

Now, unlike the Severn, where both bridges are used by cars, the Powers that Be up here, designated the old bridge as a "Public Transport Link", so no cars, under any circumstances.
Therefore if the new bridge is closed, it's a 50 mile detour via the Kincardine Bridge......Meanwhile there's an almost totally empty bridge a couple of miles downstream from the new one.

NUMPTIES....Rant over!
