| Hello,
Electrics wise, I have now moved on to the HWL switch which allegedly was broken. Thankfully, that is not the case it's fine but no wires are connected to it - multimeter continuity checks conform the working condition of the switch.
On removing the switch, there are 4x terminals. 2x of them are not marked, 1x shows + and the other displays 31.
Before connecting the switch, of which I have now established the wires in the loom, I'd like to check which wires go where, please.
X-referencing the wiring, I suspect that the GREEN wire "L" terminal of the flasher unit is the power feed to the HWL switch and that needs to go to +
Terminal marked 31, I believe is dormant and is not involved with the wiring sequence.
The 2x terminals that are NOT marked, which are below the 2x marked + and 31, I suspect take the YELLOW wire (LH indicators) and the WHITE wire which controls the RH indicators.
As such the only terminal that is not connected is 31.
If anyone can conform the above, I will be very grateful.
Thank you.
Richard.

| I think it means the Hazzard Warning Light or switch. Following the diagram kindly posted by 'green96v4' it appears thats where the green live wire goes to. | |

| Thanks Chris, that confirms my wiring observation for the Hazard Warning Light (HWL) switch.
I presume that the switch should illuminate and flash when it is switched on ??
Regards.

| Hello,
Having bench tested the HWL switch, I am pleased to say that the wiring and connections work. One point that did throw me to begin with, was the terminal marked 31. This terminal is the earth point ensuring the warning bulb has a full circuit.
Originally, I thought terminal 31 was dormant in the scheme of things - but that is not the case and it must be used to earth the bulb.
Many thanks to those who assisted with advice and another job ticked off the list.
Hopefully the above, will be of assistance to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation.
Regards.
