| Hi Simon,
Love the top one and be great to see it looking like this. Not a fan of roof chops so not so keen on the second one. Love the third one - been thinking how it could be made to work, obviously the drivetrain has to go somewhere!

| The engine could go just behind the front seats - making it rear wheel drive. Not sure what the front would look like though and how you would get in the thing!? | |

| What about a body transplant onto a VW floorpan - you could sit with your legs dangling over the front of the beam... Or an Electric conversion... I need more spare time and a barn! | |

| Seemed like a good time to fit the new oil breather pipe today. On close inspection, the existing one was split at both ends
New one fitted
The other side looks like it needs attention at some point!

| The pickup has been at Coltech Classics this week, getting some bits and pieces done.
First it had to get through an MOT, but two balljoints later and some other minor bits and pieces and it's road legal again.
Smaller screen in place...
Work on the bed cover has started
Not only does the bodywork curve from front to back, the tailgate is also curved...
Getting there slowly, lots more planned, but run out of time at Coltech for now.

| That looks great with the older front end!
Keep up the good work.

| Got some slightly better photos from Paul today (retrieved my camera I'd left with him)...
70's window aperture removed
60's version welded in
Grafting in a LHD screen meant the wipers were slightly out of place (thanks to John for sourcing an extended wiper mechanism!)
I asked Paul to reinstate the spoiler, even supplying two spoilers from donor cars. On closer inspection (after the filler had been removed), most of the spoiler was still in place, so a little grinding and welding here and there - and voila!
Still a whole heap to do!

| Seen this in "the steel" and the quality of work (and problems they have to solve) is outstanding. I have asked the question and have a "penciled in" date (a LONG time off due to demand) for something in the shed.
