As I am a bit of a book nut, as well as the interests in cars, drove a 1923 Targa Florio Diatto at recent Bromyard Speed Festival, love, but have yet to own a 96 V4, owned close on 200 "interesting" cars, I like to expand the library with books about the cars I am passionate about.
So what are the "essentials"?
Then it needs prioritizing!

Every classic car owner has to have the obligatory Haynes manual to keep in the car, workshop Manuals can come later.

I believe I have the Haynes in my books I brought over from NZ, I hope it's better than some of their ones I have had in the past!

Nothing wrong with the V4 Haynes and you can download factory manuals from my website if you need more detail.

Now what about the enthusiast books, I have the Rally Giants one, always like that sort of stuff.
Melle, thanks for the offer. If anyone wants I did download the Sport and Rally pages some years back, and haven't found it again since. (Must try now that I'm not working today)

Pic matches my collection.

One to look for is "The Art and Technique of Driving" by Pat Moss and Erik Carlsson published 1965 by Heinemann.

Others:-
Saab the First 40 years - Bjorn-Erik Lindh
Rally Cars Given the Works

Just in case it is remotely interesting to anyone, I just chanced across some miscellaneous Saab literature and photos.

Apart from 'From to-stroke to turbo' nearly all the Saab/ V4 related literature I have are parts/ workshop manuals and other engineering oriented books. Quite a few of them actually.

Wow... not sure of your age, but you must have been getting a "new" one every few months then? I think a thread on your motoring past will go down pretty well on this forum!
