Looks like I might be making the long trek south for this one, I'll probably be at the show, on Sunday 5th.
Any other 96ers going?
The old Troll should be in the Classic Car park.

Melle

Ach, Melle, I'm not only going down for this restoration show.

A couple of nights in Bath or Bristol, then we're going to Oxford for a concert on the Monday night, before heading back up North to dear old Scotia.!
Would be nice to meet up with some 96ers!

I'll think about it. Otherwise you're welcome for coffee in Bath.

I know there are a multitude of shows, but why do folks have to have direct conflicts? Shepton vs Stoneleigh on the same day? I don't get it!

The last time I was at Shepton Mallet, (last year), there certainly was a classic car park. I didn't have my car with me last year, so not sure if it needs to be pre-booked.
Hope to see you there. I'll be there on Sunday 5th.

RhysN. I saw the advert for the Stoneleigh show, though I don't have a scooby where Stoneleigh is, since they didn't deign to tell you which county it's in......somewhere in Englandshire I guess.....ha ha ha..

No conflict if you live in the South West...Bristol is 1 1/2 hrs away..Stonleigh is close to 5 hrs...if i'm going to a classic car show I don't want 10 hrs driving in a day unless it's something very special or,like Andy here, I have other things to do in the area.

Fair enough about the travel, cuts both ways, and I guess that as a total newbie, the "National Restoration how" in the middle of the country appeals, even if the car I have on display is not a Saab :(

Thanks for the offer of meeting for coffee Melle, or nipping round to your place for a cuppa, Steve.
I am unfortunately on tricky ground, so to say with the Long Haired One. I'm already getting the most of Sunday, to bog off to a car show, while she exercises her credit car in some retail therapy in Bath.
I might be pushing it a bit if I say I'm also going off to meet various SAABists for coffee and tea!!!!!

Don't bother with Stoneleigh on the 5th. Almost pure autojumble and car club displays have been put in a dark, dismal, cold hole.

Great day at Shepton Mallet. Really good to meet up with Alex Rankin, and Mike Barnes, who is the father of a previous owner of my car.

A lot of interesting cars in the car park, with no fewer than 3 of 96's and and Alex's 95 stroker.

Didn't take my camera, so no photos. Sorry....
