just a quick question....
trying to replace the chrome strip that goes around the front and rear windows - I got some that was 12mm off the bay, but couldn't fit it as it was very inflexible (even on a warm day, using washing up liquid as a lubricant and warming it up with a hairdryer). What is the correct measurement - should it be 10mm/11mm/12mm?

There are several previous posts on this topic. The correct size is 13mm but a fairly unique profile, a reasonable "Woolies" alternative is mentioned (and I believe Malbrad now stock some too).
Try a search here for "chrome strip".

Thanks - I knew I'd seen it before here but couldn't find it.

I bought one of these tools years ago, so I could install new trim into the Troll. It hasn't taken too long for the Saab insert to loose its lustre. If your existing filler is not broken apart it might be worthwhile laying it out and spraying with silver paint and reinserting.
