A few shots from around my village yesterday and today. A lot worse today.
I know most folks hate this weather, but I love it. OK, I don't have to try and get to work....

Been out skiing today. First time I've been able to do that around here, for 6 or 7 years.

BTW, Irish Flag pertains to the 6 Nations Championship, Ireland being our next opponents.

Yesterday 28th Feb.
Outside my house.

The A 917 yesterday 28th

Cornice in East Fife, today 1st March. Much, much more snow today. I drove to the nearest small town for supplies, and it was a mission. I wouldn't have made it in a mere mortal car though....The ol' 96 steamed it!!!

That's how I remember winter in Scotland from when we lived in Aberdeen, love it! Shame I don't have the 96 here to play around in.

Today we finally had our first proper snow in Bath this "winter". I've been yearning for winter for months, so when work closed at one, I've gone for a two hour walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Best day of the year so far! "Working from home" tomorrow as well, already looking forward to being surrounded by the white stuff again. Downside is my girlfriend is stuck in Dublin, flight's been cancelled twice and she's given up for this weekend.

Your car looks great in the snow by the way.

Nice photos Les! I've just been for a two hour walk again, we have very similar snow dunes around here. Saw two abandoned Audis in ditches and a stuck Landrover on a narrow country lane. It's starting to snow again, very tempted to go out again after lunch!

That shot of the A 917 that I took on the 28th. Well now it's a solid wall of snow about a metre high. I'll post a photo later, when I can get it uploaded to Flickr.
Great photos, Digger, Nice to see another Left Hooker.
I love Left Hookers!!

A917 on the 3rd of March. Over a metre deep!

When it snowed before christmas one of the neighbours offered to teach me the scandinavian flick in the 96 'next time it snows'. Well next time is now and I've the driveshaft off one side and the brake caliper off the other. Grrr - why is everybody else having so much fun

Just catching up on this thread.
Enjoying the pictures of SAABs in the snow.

Our car woke to Snow on Thursday morning.

Friday there was quite a lot of snow on the roads so it was a quiet drive into work.

but no drama for a 96 on snow tyres.

Hi everyone, woke up to snow again this morning, which really doesn't happen that often here in Hampshire. So went out and ran some errands in the 96. The heater seems to have jammed full on, not a problem at the moment, something to sort out for the summer!
