I have always had my tyre pressures at 28 BUT actually looking in the manual for once it says 24 psi lightly loaded and 27 fully loaded for a 96.

I have Vredestein 155 15's on Alloys that look a tad narrow but will have to do for now. The garage put them up to 30 so dropping them down would help. Do the wheels and tyre type make much difference to the correct PSI, think I will drop mine to 26 for now...

What do you run yours at?

Sorry for the late reply - not been on here much lately!

When I got my current V4 (11 years ago now!) I couldn't remember what pressures I used on my original one back in the early 70's. I set them to 24psi all round, and discovered that it made the steering brutally heavy! (someone has fitted mine with a sports steering wheel, at some time in its history!)

Then I found an old notebook from my original car, which recommended 28 front, 26 rear. I've been using this ever since, and its a big improvement.
