| Hi Guys, Quick question, do you normally replace the plug from the block that is knocked out when the balance shaft is driven out. If so where are they sold,
Cheers,

| Just hammer the balance shaft out (with a soft face mallet of course) and the plug should come out undamaged with it. Make sure the shaft doesn't catch on the webbing inside the block.

| Low oil pressure issue.h Engine out, I can’t feel any significant play in the balance shaft. I have removed the oil pump and clearances are within spec. Does anyone.( probably Melle ) know a free length for a new pressure relief spring or a load / compression chart. Thanks,

| I don't have any details on the spring. I've never bothered replacing one if the pump was within spec; if not I replace the whole pump. Low oil pressure due to a bad spring is unlikely I suppose (unless it's broken), I'd definitely check the other bearings as well.

| My Low oil pressure cause found. Worn rear balance shaft bearing, front bearing was fine so negligible movement on the front pulley,
