| Does anyone happen to have this info? I have an obscure accounting reason to find the original list price for my car. I'm sure I've got a Parker's price guide from the late 1970s somewhere, which would tell me this, but after seeing that book lying around on and off for the last 40+ years and each time wondering why I'm still hanging onto such a useless book, I now can't find it! Thanks, Mark

| If anyone has one of the road test books it's probably in there somewhere. | |

| Thanks everyone, these are some interesting numbers. They highlight how inflation was steaming along back then. I could use the Bank of England's inflation calculator to estimate 1975, by plugging on the 1973 number, but because inflation was so high back then it would be good to get an official 1975 price. Cheers Mark

| .... So using the BoE calculator, if it cost £780 in 1971, that would be £11,108 in 2019 (surprisingly cheap!). And then using the BoE calculator backwards, if it cost that on 2019, it would have cost about £1,314 in 1975. So it would be good to see the official list price.
