Hi,
Has anyone fitted a Jetex exhaust to a 95.
I’m tempted to remove the Jetex from the 96 and stick it on the 95 as the existing 95 exhaust is very crusty.
Is there an off the shelf part from Jetex or eBay or similar that will suitably lengthen it. I know I can figure this out myself but if anyone has done it already it would save me a job as cramming for Swedish Day!
Cheers

All you would need is a short extension pipe to fit between the mid silencer and the connecting pipe to the silencer.

Thanks Woody.
Does anyone know the length of extension required?
I think it is around 100mm.
I would like to have the bits ready to go in advance.
Thanks

A 4" long flexi coupler before the mid silencer for the extension should work.

As Melle said - I've fitted a flexi pipe between the front section and the long straight middle section - it's supposed to cut out some of the vibration too. I also changed the mid-mounts to house two pig nose rubbers instead of the bobbin-style ones, again to reduce some of the resonance you get from the Jetex.

We bought a Jetex exhaust for a 95 a few years ago and at that point Jetex sold the extension piece as an extra. Seem to remember price was reasonable as well .

Thanks for the help everyone and thanks for the offer Simon but ordered an extension piece from Jetex earlier today.
They were very helpful on the phone, the chap that answered knew exactly what a 96 and 95 were and what was needed

If the extension piece has a part number, please post it for the records. Dimensions would be good too.

It is simply a case of buying a 500mm length of 2” pipe and cutting it to length
