I keep this thread up to date; last updated 16 June 2021. Some of these parts may also be on eBay, but you'll always get a better deal when contacting me directly by email at saabv4[at]saabv4[dot]com

All below parts are used and come strictly without warranty, prices are non-negotiable and plus post or collected from Bath. Inspection prior to purchase welcome. If you're interested in any of below parts, please email me at saabv4[at]saabv4[dot]com Any questions please feel free to ask and if you need more pics please let me know.

1.7 crank, standard size journals (measured with vernier calipers, not micrometers), may polish up and be used with std size bearings, but one con rod bearing is damaged and needs to be repaired, comes with new spigot bush, 300 250 (will be shipped in wooden box if required)

1.7 crank, media blasted and/ or phosphated, journals ground to max undersize (measured with vernier calipers, not micrometers), please note: this crank has been used in a rally engine and it has not been crack/ stress tested, comes with new spigot bush, 200 175 (will be shipped in wooden box if required)

1.5 crank, good condition, 100 (will be shipped in wooden box if required)

2bbl/ Weber/ Solex inlet manifold (without vacuum intermediate plate, of which I currently have none in stock), 175 (example pic, several available)

1.5 HC pistons (standard , measured with vernier calipers, not micrometers), set of four from one engine, reasonable condition, con rods useless as caps are missing, 25

1.5 HC pistons, pic to follow, 100

1.7 LC pistons, 100 (2 sets available)

Balance shaft, journals scratch free and within spec, 75 (pic is just an example, pics of actual shaft can be sent, several available)

Cam shaft, journals scratch free and within spec, good usable lobes, 75. Cam shaft for regrind (journals and lobes will need grinding), 20 (pic is just an example, pics of actual cam can be sent, one usable one and several for regrind available)

Oil pump, 15, proceeds to Red Cross (pic is just an example, several available)

Free parts: thermostats, temp sensors, balance shaft plugs, valves, collets, valve springs, push rods, tappets, head bolts. All parts in below pic (as far as still available) + more completely free of charge including shipping, but a small donation to the Red Cross to offset the shipping costs would be appreciated. Complete push rod and tappet sets from one engine available as well and I have multiples of all parts in NL should stocks dry up. If you need any other small parts and nuts and bolts, just ask. Fair use policy. ;)

I brought two good condition 1.7 cranks over from NL for someone in the UK who then went quiet... 350 each if anyone needs one.

Hi Richard,

I haven't received anything, the forum's PM system is notoriously sketchy. Please email me at saabv4[at]saabv4[dot]com

Cheers,
Melle

Hi Melle,

There was someone asking about a 1. crank, so I've pointed him to your 2 threads (the 1.7 engines too just in case).

Cheers,

Simon

I managed to escape to NL just before the border closed! If anyone needs any engine parts let me know, I can bring them with me when I go home, or post directly from here.

Jim, is there anything in particular you need? I have loads of small engine parts I'm happy to donate to help people get/ keep their cars on the road.

V4 parts engines are increasingly difficult to find in Europe and prices are creeping up steadily as well. As a result, my 2bbl manifolds will be 175 in the new year, but if you buy one before the end of this year, you'll still pay 150 and I'll donate 25 to the British Red Cross.
