Interesting thread about the restoration of a Ford Corsair with a V4 engine. Nice restoration including the engine.
It is curious how at first, V4 looks the same to that fit on SAABs, but after a closer look on parts notice that are very different.

That's correct, the Essex/ English V4 is a completely different engine. RetroRides is by far the second nicest car forum on the internet by the way.

There was an article in Practical Classic recently about the SAAB V4 engine and it stated that there were no common parts between the Ford Essex V4 engine and Ford Cologne V4 engine.
