Dirtbiker | Posted - 14 May 2021 : 20:49:49 And there I was painting a parcel shelf. Now I’m going to have to take the 95 engine apart... |

No fees (in theory, many parcels are apparently still invoiced), but you still need to pay VAT. This should be collected by the seller, who must be VAT registered in the UK. I've heard of people paying no VAT at all, VAT to the seller and to customs or the courier as well, or parcels being held up or returned at the border. It's one big mess...

I have no experience with this brand, does anyone know if they're any good?

christophe | Posted - 14 May 2021 : 10:19:10 Autodoc.co.uk has these gaskets as well. 10,81 GBP each (Ajusa brand). Nice day to all. |
christophe | Posted - 14 May 2021 : 09:15:47 I just had a look at the rates. There is no fee for non-excise goods under 135 GBP. Oddly, you have to call to get a quote for superior amounts. This seems rather impractical. |

It depends – but hardly anyone seems to understand on what or whom!

christophe | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 20:51:48 Sorry, I forgot about that. How much for the new import duties? |
melle | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 20:39:40 That's not exactly cheap! Plus importing stuff into the UK has become expensive/ cumbersome. Worth giving Brands Hatch Performance a call, they're a VR dealer: https://www.shopbhp.com/

christophe | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 20:04:47 Motomobil or Skandix have them. Less than 30€ each. |
melle | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 10:45:15 I've used a closed deck set from that seller and wasn't too happy with it. See here: http://www.saab-v4.co.uk/speedball/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3668 Pretty sure Victor Reinz do open deck gaskets too.

Dirtbiker | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 09:43:54 Anyone got any opinions on the quality of these gaskets? Cheers |
Dirtbiker | Posted - 13 May 2021 : 09:40:40 Thanks Simon and Mettersi, I hadn’t looked yet. Didn’t think they would be tricky to find! |
