v4admin | Posted - 23 Feb 2016 : 18:53:15 Yes pros and cons and my worry also is less posted on here but hopefully we can keep them both alive and kicking so there is something for everyone. I will post links to the good information on this site in FB to try and keep them linked up - trying to please everyone as usual.... |

john-saab | Posted - 23 Feb 2016 : 14:03:17 Not too sure thats true Derek. Faceache has it's moments (quick fix) but it a PITA to find historic features so people ask the same questions again and again (if one more persone comes onto the Isuzu forum and asks "what oil for my Trooper?" grrrr) This site is a gold mine of information and a lot more friendly (FB can get nasty some times) On the plus side I know some new members on here have found us because of several peoples profile details..they include a direct link to this site.

Derek | Posted - 23 Feb 2016 : 13:04:47 The negative side of this is that those who prefer not to have anything to do with Facebook have to put up with the inevitable reduction in posts on original forums like this one. How often have you read on a forum that it seems to be rather dead lately with even comments like "come on guys, let's have some new posts to give us something to talk about" |
Peter96 | Posted - 22 Feb 2016 : 20:47:39 Ive signed up as well even though I no longer have my V4. |
v4admin | Posted - 22 Feb 2016 : 20:43:50 Thanks John, will start with this one and see how it runs alongside the website. I have thought about a for sale site so maybe do that one later. |
john-saab | Posted - 22 Feb 2016 : 19:08:44 I'm happy to help mod that as well if you need...oh and I have applied for membership. Most car sites have 2 FB pages..one for chat and one for sale/wanted ads....it makes life easier for everyone.
