Excellent bit of footage Alex and of course Ford were dominating the rally scene at that stage.
In fact their strangle hold remained unbeaten in the RAC Lombard Rally from 1972 to 1979 inclusive; I think it was a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus that broke the Ford domination in the end.
The Saab V4 winning in 1971, prior to the Ford onslaught.
I like the scene with the chap adding a bit of paint to the Saab's roof, just to tidy it up !!
