i took the decision to rewire my '68 and to make a few mods etc: i wanted all the relays, fuses etc inside, not in the engine bay (see Projects) and i wanted to replace the tin can-type headlamp relays and also put the later round-type wiper motor on, rather than the square body type and to have intermittent wipe etc.....so, if anyone should want to do same
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/ade55/saab%2096/front%20and%20wiring%20etc%20of%2096/DSCF0976.jpg that is the wiring diag for wiper intermittent and for headlamp flash/dip and this http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh129/ade55/saab%2096/front%20and%20wiring%20etc%20of%2096/?action=view¤t=DSCF0977.jpg is the overall wiring diag. Both systems work fine. I've got a feeling those links wont work: they might need to be done manually...i'm hopeless with stuff....Adrian

just thought i't correct something...i didn't draw out the circuit for intermittent wipe properly, so here it is http://s255.photobucket.com/user/ade55/media/saab%2096/front%20and%20wiring%20etc%20of%2096/DSCF1687_zps64d3ef38.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
this is to install a round type wiper motor with later stalk switch into a '68...it all works fine, except that, when pushing the switch for single wipe, you have to keep it held down for a few seconds, as there's a delay before the intermittent timer kicks in (to give it one wipe)...anyone know of a cure for this?
