Unless you pull the dash back by miles, you need extra long fingers, with extra joints, and manage to get yourself flat out on the floor. I removed the passenger seat, to make it easier!!
I can see the temperature and fuel gauge now though.

| It's a bit of a pain, I had to fix the temperature gauge this weekend with similar problems.
Be thankful it's not a modern car though.
Any dash board work these days requires removing most of the interior, half-a-dozen "special" tools and a finger like E.T. |

No, standard bulbs are fine.
Not even sure if LEDS are available for these old instruments.
I just got some bulbs from Malbrad.

Aye, the fan motor gave up on my wife's modern Renault. I had a look at what was involved to get in there, and gave it to the garage!!!

They are, I've used T5 LEDs, I even used them for my father in law's 1960's McCormick D439 tractor the other day that also has VDO instruments.
