| What a bl**y faff. Unless you pull the dash back by miles, you need extra long fingers, with extra joints, and manage to get yourself flat out on the floor. I removed the passenger seat, to make it easier!!
I can see the temperature and fuel gauge now though.

| I remember helping my mate renew his speedo cable on his V4 many years ago and boy, my back is still recovering. I've never been agile but I had to be helped getting up, quite embarrassing. | |

| It's a bit of a pain, I had to fix the temperature gauge this weekend with similar problems. Be thankful it's not a modern car though. Any dash board work these days requires removing most of the interior, half-a-dozen "special" tools and a finger like E.T. | Edited by - stevebod on 08 Feb 2021 18:23:23 | |

| Melle. No, standard bulbs are fine. Not even sure if LEDS are available for these old instruments. I just got some bulbs from Malbrad.
Steve. Aye, the fan motor gave up on my wife's modern Renault. I had a look at what was involved to get in there, and gave it to the garage!!!

They are, I've used T5 LEDs, I even used them for my father in law's 1960's McCormick D439 tractor the other day that also has VDO instruments.
