Hello.

As part of my 96 restoration project, I am considering obtaining & using a roll over jig / rotisserie.

If anyone has used one of these for the 96, I will be interested to know what you did for securing the car to it and if you made the jig from scratch or adapted one. Perhaps you may even have purchased a bespoke unit.

Thank you.

Richard.

Usual procedure is to mount the car with the bumper irons, or on the bumper mounting points if it's a more modern car.

I've been thinking of getting a rotisserie too, so that I can do the jacking points more easily than on axel stands, and also have easier access for painting underneath, and building a new exhaust.

The FB jig is certainly a well constructed item with plenty of strength; ideally a set of wheels would make the jig extremely versatile - an easy enough modification.
At 500 - mmmmm, not so sure on that.
