| Thanks for the link, a pair of those posted to the UK is €47.00 which is a little steep for 2 x plastic cups!
I've ordered those clips from ebay (@ £5 all in) and I'll let you know how I get on...

Mail them and tell them that must be a mistake, a letter up to 20 g NL --> UK should only cost 1,33 euro. They probably quoted the price for a registered parcel.
Melle could bring you some from NL when he's there. :-)

| I have seen it before, it's been around for awhile and I think it might have been for sale last year too.
It's been painted the same colour I want to paint mine too, but hopefully mine will look sufficiently different so they don't get confused with each other;)

| Agree with Melle, I think he was going for the Bruce Turke Two Stroke colour look but it,s too shiny!
Although I do love the colour, duck egg shell that is in at the moment for front doors, garden fencing etc but it has always looked great on classic style boat hulls

| I am fascinated by these, how do you get them through IVA, or is it because they were done before the current regime? | |

| Had some 'fun' with the pickup today - haven't moved the car for awhile and now I want to shift it, it wouldn't budge!
The rear offside brake shoe had rusted itself to the drum and didn't want to let go. But with the help of a blowtorch and a lump hammer it started to move again.
Now I can get on with what I wanted to do in the first place.

| Blowtorch...brakes..two words that shouldn't be mixed unless the car has been in a bog for 10years. That's going to need sorting. Where was the blow torch applied?

| Just to the outside, outer rim of the brake drum.
The blowtorch was almost out of gas, so it wasn't exactly blasting out a lot of heat, just enough to expand the drum. Once the drum made a nice bell-ringing sound, it was cool enough to spin the drum by hand, so I don't think it got excessively hot.
I had also wound out the brake adjuster, so once the drum was spinning again I re-adjusted it.
I will have a proper look inside though.

| A gentle thump with a hammer is how we trailer sailer boys do it if the brakes stick on over winter.

| Bit of an update...
Got a set of wheels banded so they're now 5.5" wide.
And I'm nearly there with wiring up the '69 dash too, here's the difference between the standard osram 12v2w bulbs...
and a set of LED versions...
It's not quite ready to take anywhere though, so we'll be down for the SEC weekend and Swedish Day in the Skoda.
